Last Updated: October 17, 2022

GREAT NEWS! There are no longer any requirements for entering Costa Rica or returning to the United States. If you have questions please contact us. Hope to see you soon for some much needed pura vida!

Overview

Costa Rica is open to all travelers. There are NO requirements to enter the country, regardless if you are vaccinated or not. You DO NOT need to get a COVD-19 test prior to your visit. (For more info on visiting Costa Rica visit here.)

You also don’t need to get tested before flying back to the United States, or show proof that you’ve recovered from COVID-19 within the past 90 days. (Which was required previously, but no longer.) For the latest on traveling to and from the U.S. visit the CDC’s requirements page.

We do not require guests be vaccinated to stay with us, nor is it required to enter Costa Rica. There is also no requirement for wearing masks in and around our facilities. However, we do encourage everyone to be courteous of others, and follow the CDC’s most up-to-date safety guidelines.

After your initial inquiry, a pre-reservation is made and held for 48 hrs so you have time to decide. You can then secure your reservation with a deposit. We do not offer refunds for deposits. For cancellations 60 days prior to your trip, deposits are transferable for a future trip. If you cancel after that 60 day window, and we can sell your room, any money paid can go towards a future trip. If we are unable to resell your room, your deposit will be forfeited and any remaining balance can go towards a future trip.

As with any travel it is important to practice precaution, but our location is ideally suited for staying safe while visiting and surfing in Costa Rica. Since most of our facilities and activities are outside, our spot is especially well suited for adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols as it provides ample room to spread out at safe distances from one another.
